Hello all in Malaysia.
Apparently in recent months Maxis have come out with new Hotlink packages that offers data and such. Those new packages might not provide the ability to renew the 365 days validity plan.
If however you are still on the Hotlink Bagus plan, then you are in luck and may be able to extend your 365 days validity period.
At the time of writing, I just managed to re-extend my phones validity period from today 28th. April 2017 to 28th. April 2018. You may use the following steps to extend the validity from your phone. The text in the brackets need not be keyed in.
1. Ensure your have sufficient credit of at least RM35.00 in your account,
2. Dial *100#
3. Key in : 01 (Next Page). Send.
4. Key in : 6 (My Account & Others). Send
5. Key in : 3 (Buy Validity). Send
6. Key in : 1 or 2 (as per your requirement). Send

ReplyDeleteYes it is still available and is hidden. If you have subscribed to the validity 365 before you can do it again. Key in *100#*100# > 01 > 8 - *100# > 01 > 6 - MyAccount & Others > 3 - Buy Validity > 2 - RM33 to add 365 days (from today)

my 012 hotlink 365 validity expired few day ago, can i restore while i in oversea ? i try *100# is just show up roaming . by the way i live oversea only return malaysia every 2 year, please help

Deleteafter the first *100#, look for the next *100# (8), then My Account (6), then Buy Validity (3), then choose 365 (2)

likely you have an expired 365Validity or failed to extend your 365Validityfor unknown reasons …. you need to (also) “re-activate” an expired 365Validity …. provided you have sufficient credit in your account using these steps (either step nbr 1 and 2 OR step 1 and 3 below)
1) use the *505# .... to activate “Account Inactive” menu and buy a “1 Day Pass” for RM1 as a first-step. You will get notification of RM1 deduction and your account validity extended for 1 / one day.
2) you must proceed to extend your 365Validity (within that 24 hours extension window) per steps as outlined by
PL 27 January 2021 at 22:24 within this blog
where RM33 will be deducted.
3) instead of the steps outlined by “PL dated 27 January 2021 at 22:24 , you can also try
*365#
but RM60 will be deducted

I was advised by MAXIS CCC: Customer Care Consultant in February 2019 that the ANNYAL (365 daya) PLAN, renewal as long as with CREDIT Balance | Reloaded Sum > RM33/year, as subsequent year, I did not perform MANNUAL Renewal, with the STEPS, likewise in Year 2020/2021 renewal.

Many thanks to all of you who have written in to relay their experiences in trying to get the Hotlink 365 days validity extension. I am pleasantly surprised by all the responses. I am happy that the steps I had put forward had helped some, but did not work for others. I can only guess its limited to the Maxis Hotlink Bagus plan.
